Municipality of The Hague

On the Noorderstrand (Scheveningen) and the Zuiderstrand in the municipality of The Hague, thirty HW Lifeshower® Beach beach showers have been installed for several seasons. With thirteen units in Scheveningen and seventeen on the Zuiderstrand, they provide daily refreshment and hospitality for visitors.

The showers are equipped with a double showerhead and are set to ensure efficient water use and minimal waste. In addition, each shower has a tap for clean drinking water. Thanks to the integrated filter, the HW Lifeshower® Beach offers not only comfort but also safety.

For the municipality of The Hague, this means a sustainable and practical solution. Peggy ten Hoopen, Beach and Boulevard Manager, explains: “With the beach showers, we want to offer our beach visitors something extra: a touch of hospitality. Last season, we didn’t have a single issue with the showers. That saves us a lot of operational hassle.”
