Does the HW ProteQ only remove Legionella from the water?
No, the HW ProteQ removes a broad range of micro-organisms and particles from the water. Thanks to ultrafiltration, not only Legionella bacteria are retained, but also other bacteria, protozoa, suspended solids and a large proportion of viruses.
Can the HW ProteQ be combined with other water treatment technologies?
Yes, ultrafiltration is often combined with other technologies such as copper and silver ionisation. By reducing the microbiological load at the point of entry, the HW ProteQ enables these additional techniques to operate more effectively throughout the installation.
How is membrane integrity monitored?
The HW ProteQ® is equipped with an automatic integrity test for the filter modules, ensuring the performance and tightness of the membranes. The integrated Air Pressure Test automatically checks each filter module every 24 hours using air pressure for possible membrane ruptures. If a rupture is detected, the system immediately deactivates the defective filter and activates a fault notification, thereby safeguarding water quality.
In which capacities is HW ProteQ® available?
The HW ProteQ® is available in various models depending on the water capacity. The smallest type provides a flow rate of up to 3 m³/h, while the larger versions are suitable for a standard capacity of up to 20 m³/h, offering an appropriate solution for different water requirements.
